Today I’m so grateful for the end of the long heat wave. Yesterday it was 86F/30C and high humidity, we had a horrible thunderstorm last night, heavy rains and now it’s 55F/13C. It is lovely!! My windows and doors are wide open, the scent of homemade bread is taking over. It’s a perfect day!

What are you grateful for today?

      1. Today is in the 70s and dry, IDEAL! We got 1/2″ which we are grateful to receive, with so many suffering a lack of rain. I’m reading ‘Aurora’ by David Koepp. Not my usual read, as it is sci-fi, but it was recommended and I like to mix it up now and again. :)

    1. Cooler weather is my cup of tea. I grew up in the mountains and during heat waves I especially miss that.

      1. You are welcome. 😊 Vegas will see the low to mid 100s all next week, very typical weather. I’m off to Michigan in three days to suffer in the humidity. 😂
