  1. M, yummy! Enjoy that, Maria. I’m grateful for a slight chance of rain today and for my sister who is buying food that I like for my trip up there very soon. She doesn’t have to feed me, haha! 🤣

Always a delight to eat produce from the garden isn’t or Maria.
We had a delicious green salad from the garden the other day with fresh dug new potatoes.
    Simple and delicious.
Fingers crossed for many more meals from your table Maria.

  4. A great feeling, to harvest a meal directly from the garden, the ‘fruits of our labor.’ :)
I’m grateful to live in such a paradise, I feel so blessed. Today while I sat by the river watching a flock of cedar waxwings hawk for insects, an immature bald eagle cruised by heading upriver. Every time I see an eagle here, which were extirpated around the time I was born, I am grateful for those who worked to save this bird from near extinction. It has once again become more common to see them along our rivers.
