Our ski slope ”Källviksbacken”

I love that our town has a ski slope. I can see our ski slope from my living room window (I took this photo of it at a different location). It makes me happy seeing the ski slope. Skiing and snowboarding used to play an important part in my life and I still enjoy it occasionally. What are you grateful for today?

  1. Oh how the children adore that slope I’m sure, Maria! O LOVED sledding with my friends in Michigan, and skiing later when we were older. I saw some scary water level info for Lake Mead this morning so I am grateful for the water I have! Have a wonderful new week my friend. Be well. ❤️😎

  2. Winter fun, and a lovely photograph!
I miss snowboarding (too high risk after detached retina, doctor’s orders…) so flattish terrain xc skiing is now my winter fun!

  3. As a former snow skier, I do appreciate your view of the ski slope from your home – lucky you!

    1. I did not know that my apartment had a view of the ski slopes when I signed up for it, since it was before it was built, so that came as a very nice surprise the first time I stepped into my home to be. I am very grateful fro the view. My favourite reading chair is placed so that I can see the ski slope if I pause my reading for a second.

  4. What a beautiful view! Although I’m not a skier, I would appreciate that view every single day. I almost had a post up this weekend, half written and life got in the way. I’m grateful for my family, as we all share this house together and sometimes step on each other’s toes. Haha! It’s all good, but trying at times too! 💞
