Welcome to the weekend coffee share. Can I get you a cup of coffee? Or tea? It’s been a very quiet week. The highlight was probably watching the Swedish music competition “Melodifestivalen”, with my daughter last night. It is a series of music competitions leading up to the big Eurovision song contest later this spring. My daughter absolutely loves these competitions. They are every Saturday for a couple of months in the winter/spring and she look forward to them all week.

Homemade pizza to be enjoyed while watching “Melodifestivalen.

We don’t always like every song, but it is always fun. Yesterday she talked so much that I could barely hear any of the songs, but it is part of the fun.

I’ve worked a little bit on my crocheting project this week. It’s going to be a large bed cover when finished (in a million years or so.)

In my Daily Gratitude Practice this week I’ve shared some of my garden favourites, perhaps I can plant some ideas for this upcoming gardening season ;) Looking out my window there’s still snow all around and cold weather.

How are you doing? Did you have a good week? Please tell me about it in a comment. Thank you Natalie for hosting the Weekend Coffee Share.

  3. I have to say that the winning song was the best of the ones this week and could even win over all – very Eurovision! As for the firemen….!!!

  6. No snow, but lots of music here – went to a Baroque concert midweek, very enjoyable. No pizza, but we had a beer and nachos before the event!
    Love the crochet, very colourful!

  7. Wish I was there for the pizza! :D The colors of your project are pretty. It really would take me a million years to finish such a thing. After all, I still have a quilt in a trunk that I started in high school, lol!

  8. I’m so glad you’re enjoying watching the music competitions with your daughter. So good to see you crocheting again too. I tried my hand at that a few times and it should be doable when you’re blind, but probably not with my other disabilities.
