This summer my daughter and I visited several of the surrounding lakes. If one sees our region from above one would see pine forests and lakes. Sometimes I wake up with an almost overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the surrounding nature. Today was a day like that, and I needed to share it with you before heading to work.
I took the photos on Sunday during one of our regular walks by the lakeside, including cloud-watching, and enjoying ice-cream at the dock.
