Welcome to the weekend coffee share! Can I get you a cup of coffee? Or perhaps some tea? It’s been a wonderful week, and most days every day started with coffee and reading/school at 5 am. I like to get a good start, and be on top of things. If I start early I can study almost three hours before my work day begin (I live very close to my work).

The weather is perfect and fall is officially my favourite season. We’ve enjoyed sunny days and seasonally warm weather 65F/18C all week. The nights are cooler, but not freezing yet. I actually harvested some ripe strawberries at the balcony the other day.

The last two photos are from a bike ride earlier today. You can see one of our towns ski jumps in two of the photos today. Speaking of skiing, earlier this week I reserved a ticket to one of the days at FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2027 that takes place at Lugnet, the area around that ski jump. I’m excited about that. Sport is always more fun live.

What are you up to this weekend? I have some more school work to take care of tomorrow, but on Sunday I’m going for a hike. Thank you Natalie for hosting the weekend coffee share.

  1. Very beautiful photos, Maria! The ski jump is huge and I agree, sport is always best in person. Have a great weekend. ☺️❤️

  2. Your weather sounds wonderful (and that last photo esp. proves it)! Our weather has been similar but night temps are sinking (37º one night). We’re expecting a couple inches of rain tomorrow through Tues. due to a nor’easter. (They always seem to last 3 days before finally drifting out to sea.) Lots of reading time ahead and I impulsively bought a new puzzle today. I won’t be bored. :)

  3. Our days are of course getting longer and warmer. In fact, our clocks go forward this Sunday.

  4. Autumn is my favorite season too. Perfect temps for me! Going to the ski championship sounds fun, as does going for a hike. Celebrating my husband’s birthday this weekend with all sorts of simple pleasures.
