Can I get you a cup of coffee? Or tea? It is great to see you here! It is Sunday morning in Sweden and I am sipping my morning coffee from my favourite cup, with the balcony door open. I’m watching the clouds go by, while listening to the wind play in the trees.

Cloudwatching

These week’s been very pleasant in many ways. We’ve enjoyed several lovely late summer days, some rain and some clouds. It’s been a great week.

I’ve been on many bike rides (you can see a couple of them here and here). There’s been plenty of time for reading this week. In the mornings before work I read school books for a couple hours, and after work and during the weekend I’ve had time to read just for fun. I am currently on my third just for fun book this week.

The books with the book mark is my current read.

Yesterday my daughter and I made jam together, as a part of her wanting to learn more about how to cook, bake, and preserve things. Today we’re going to do some meal prepping for next week, as we usually do on Sundays. Naturally there will be time for some outdoor fun as well. Making time for nature every day is always a priority, rain or shine.

My daughter and I made raspberry jam.

Natalie is taking us for a lovely walk in a very special garden this week, thank you Natalie for hosting the Weekend Coffee Share. How is your weekend so far? Please tell me about the happenings in your corner of the world.

  1. The jam looks very good. We are having some stunning skies here too right now.
