Welcome to the weekend coffee share! Can I get you a cup of coffee? Or tea? How are you doing?

It is still summer in Sweden. Today we enjoyed a high of 78.8F/26C. The warm weather somehow seem slightly less warm later in the summer. We’ve had similar weather for a few days. Yesterday my daughter and I took a long walk together, just enjoying our surroundings and the lovely weather. We ended up at a cafe in town, and it was absolutely wonderful. This kind of weather this late in the season feels like a kind, and unexpected gift. Every time my daughter and I go for walks together she talks about the trees around us. It always makes me smile, this is something she’s been doing since before she could talk. Her obsessions with trees started when she was a few months old and I carried her in a Babybjörn around our Northern California ranch while doing chores. With her body language she would demand that I walk up to different trees so that she could touch them. When I did she usually laughed out loud.

Thank you Natalie for hosting the weekend coffee share. How are things in your neck of the woods? I’d love to hear about your week.

Maria
