Today I am grateful for the cold planted broccoli that seem to be doing great. I planted the seedlings in a mixed bed with columbine and marigolds.

    Looks healthy and fresh! 😊 I have a few cabbage plants this year. I’ve never successfully grown cabbage before—I tried few times, but something ate them before I got a harvest. They looked so fresh, crisp, and promising… and then yesterday I noticed some unwelcome visitors. Now there are both small and larger holes appearing in the leaves, and I’m not sure what to do.

    Any suggestions for keeping the cabbage-eaters away? 🐛
