This year my pumpkins have taken their sweet time to sprout, but today I noticed some tiny seedlings. I am most grateful that there will be pumpkins this year. Pumpkins are fun, beautiful, nutritious, abundant in the amount of food they deliver, and on top of that they have great shelf life.

What are you grateful for today?

    1. That is something to be grateful for! The desert wind can be cruel. Have a wonderful day.

      1. Yes, it can become annoying the second day and I must clean up the palm tree debris daily as the tree is ready for pruning very soon. Desert life problems… 😂 Happy weekend!

  3. So much can be done with pumpkins, and what a bonus that they are such good keepers. Went to a local nursery and bought lots of annuals to give color to my beds. Pictures will soon be on my blog.

  4. I haven’t had much success growing pumpkins, but I’m very thankful that this year I was able to grow from seed three kinds of other winter squash, cousins of the pumpkin I guess you could say: butternut, kabocha, and Delicata. They are all up and growing, and I’m hopeful to get fruits from all in the late summer!
