A close-up of the oregano plant

Today I feel grateful for the oregano that survived the winter. It is the first time one managed to survive at its regular spot in the garden bed. I did not take it inside over the winter. This oregano slept under a thick layer of mulch and later snow.

This is how big the plant is now.

I planted this oregano from seeds last spring. I transplanted the young plant to this garden bed in May of 2025 (a year ago). Oregano is a cherised ingredient in our kitchen, and we use a lot of it.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. Hooray! Not too long awake, but grateful for our time in Stockholm. Just over a week left.
