Once a week my daughter and I bake bread. I love the activity, the scent, and of course enjoying homemade bread.

What are you grateful for today?

    1. Just ask yourself what you are grateful for today. We all have things to be grateful for, Ilze. ❤️

      1. The name “grateful” is not working for me… quite formal and abstract.

        1. I see, I’m not sure what to tell you, Ilze.

          1. Don’t worry, I will find the “right” word with the “right” feeling. This feels “pushed” and “fake”. I’m talking about myself not the post author – Maria!

              1. It is a language issue… :) and maybe a bit of culture issue as well :)

                1. I would enjoy spending some time in Latvia to get to know the people and culture. 😍

                    1. Yes, and I would have to stop by your place too. 👍🏻

    2. It is a gratitude practice that I am trying this year. Perhaps another word works better for you. It’s about appreciating all the good things that we actually have and sometimes take for granted in our busy lives. It could be different things for different people. I often try to think about three meaningful things with my day before I go to bed, this is a little like this, but I usually limit myself to share only one thing. For me it often have to do with my family, friends, nature and gardening, those things add meaning to my life.

  2. Such a wonderful thing to do with your daughter weekly, Maria! ❤️❤️ I am grateful for no obligations today like a doctor’s appointment or anything else. A day to do as I please. 😂👍🏻

Happy for a sunny morning here – second cup of coffee sitting outside in a warm spot… spring at last!

    1. That sounds so wonderful! It’s been sunny and windy here today. No time for coffee in the sun though, a very busy day at work.

    1. Me too, the scent is almost better than eating bread. (Even though I like eating bread very much, and probably eat too much..)

Thank you for your kind comment.

    1. I wish so too my friend, so that we could have coffee, or tea, in real life. Enjoy the day!

  6. Oh, boy, that bread looks good! Today I am grateful for a warm sunny day. I swept our patio and help Clif get the table on the patio. Our happy time is coming!
