Geranium macrorrhizum ’Bevan’s varety’

Today I am grateful for this Easter weekend. I have four days off work to enjoy with my daughter, and the things that are important to me. Today I had a long conversation with one of my best friends, another long conversation with my daughter, went for a long bike ride, and finally spent some time at my allotment (where I took today’s photo).

We have three days of snow or rain in the forecast, so I decided that it was a good idea to fertilize my garlic today, and let the snow/rain help the process. I used cow manure as fertilizer. I also prepped some of the garden beds that I am going to plant other crops in. I am very grateful for my allotment garden.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. Down time is a necessity and a blessing. Hope you have a relaxing weekend.
Grateful that so many birds call our land home. They are in full spring mode, calling out territory, seeking mates, nest building… a delight!

  2. You had a busy day getting the garden ready, happy times for you! Snow or rain, that means weather flip-flop season. I’m grateful for the beautiful sunshine and low 70s today. ☺️
