
Walking to work, and walking home from work can be important opportunties to reset and reflect. On the way to work I try to prepare my mind for the little people I am about to meet (I’m a kindergarten teacher). On the way home I let go of work related challenges. Nature helps me to reset my mind according to current needs. If I face extraordinary challenges at times I take the long way home, taking a longer walk through a nearby forest, or a walk by the lake. I am grateful for the freedom in my life that allows this.
