Welcome to the weekend coffee share. Can I get you a cup of coffee? Or tea?

Like I mentioned in a previous post I’ve spent a couple days in Stockholm this week. I’m not a big city girl, and there are many things that I do not like about the city, but there are some things that I do like about Stockholm. For example, I do LOVE the beautiful old houses with amazing details. Like the artful window in the staircase above. There are hundreds of beautiful old houses to admire in Stockholm.

I had a good and productive time in Stockholm. I was there to learn more about positive learning environments. I attended some very interesting seminars. On Thursday evening I went to a nice restaurant with some of my fellow students, followed by a night at one of my favourite hotels in Stockholm. The hotel breakfast is one of my favourite things when staying at a hotel, it did not disappoint.

I travelled by train as usual. The train to Stockholm, and back home was on time. Everything about the trip was good, but now I’m grateful to be back home. Home sweet home.

How is your week? Can I get you a refill on that coffee? Thank you Natalie for hosting the weekend coffee share.

  1. The windows are gorgeous! There’s no place like home, just like Dorothy said.

  2. Signs of spring! Not too many signs here, yet – more snow and below zero the next few days…
I like to get out, see new/different places, but it’s always good to return home!

    1. It will come :) Spring will be there in no time. When one have a home we love it is good to get back home. I’ve always appreciated travel more when I had a home I loved to get back to. Some years when the situation at home wasn’t as good, then I did not enjoy travel as much either.

  3. Hotel breakfasts are usually good – the temptation to eat more than usual though is always there.
