Welcome to the weekend coffee share. If we were having drinks together I would suggest a warm beverage. It is cold out, -4F/-20C. Earlier today I had some errands in town. I usually walk to main street and it takes me about 20 min, but today I took the bus. (That could be another gratitude share, that I love having the option of taking the bus basically right outside my door.) The bus was filled with cheerful people and decorated for Valentine’s Day. I wanted so badly to take a picture, but decided against it, since I did not want to accidentally offend any of the passengers. It was beautiful though; tons of roses, hearts and teddybears holding hearts in their arms.

When I arrived in town I did my most important errand and after that I decided to stop for a hot cup of coffee. The warm beverage was even more wonderful than usual. After a few sips of the delicious coffee I felt completely warm inside out.

We’ve had several gorgeous, sunny days this week. It is mid-winter and the weather is exactly like it should be this time of the year. I love feeling the sun on my face again. There’s a little more daylight every day, and how wonderful that is, isn’t something you can fully understand unless you’ve had several months of darkness.

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful week. Please tell me abut it in a comment! Happy Valentine’s Day!

Maria

  1. How convenient your bus stop is so close, my nearest bus stop is still a 15-minute walk, on a chilly day, I’d rather not walk that far. Yes, a warm beverage is necessary 😄, I’m holding a hot mug of coffee while reading your post.
Have a wonderful week ahead. ☺️

    1. How wonderful! Did you watch Melodifestivalen? This week I had two favourites and it was the two songs that place highest and went straight to the finals. If you watched it, did you have a favourite?

      1. The one that went straight through was definitely the best. Still think last week’s winner might win over all, but let us see!
