After spending some time in Stockholm this week it felt so nice to return to my part of the world, Dalarna, Sweden. I had a great time in Stockholm, but every time I go a little further north my heart skips a beat and I feel lighter inside. Looking out the window as I write this it looks like I am inside a snow globe, the snow is falling down like on a Christmas card. It is cold, but not too cold. It is just right and I am grateful.

Would you like to join me in this Daily Gratitude Practice 2026?

  2. I love the hush of falling snow. I feel the same way coming home from even the small cities where we shop. There is no place like home!
Today I am so grateful for our wood stove and lots of firewood at the ready. 🔥
It was -3F this morning and the wind howled through the night, the windchill must have been nasty!
