Today I am grateful for the amazing nature that surround me. When I review what I value the most in my life, living in a place where I have access to nature within minutes from my home have always been high on my list.

What are you grateful for today? Would you like to join me in this Daily Gratitude Practice 2026? Let’s tag our posts #DailyGratitudePractice2026.

  1. I was born in Rotterdam, the second-largest city of the Netherlands, and when I moved to Apeldoorn, which is still a large city, in 1996, I was amazed at the availability of nature. Now “nature” is a relative term, since the Netherlands isn’t nearly as nature-rich as Sweden is. I however appreciate just the right balance.

    1. Nature comes in many shapes. I love when they keep patches and ares of trees in the city. It makes all the difference in so many ways. Balance is a beautiful word.

  3. Gorgeous. We are in northern Michigan tonight snowmobiling and the drive up was gorgeous. Snow covered with the moon casting shadows through the trees. Living near some woods is precious to me too.

    1. Wonderful! Enjoy your adventure! I remember you wrote about your love for snowmobiling another year. When I lived in the mountains snowmobiling was part of life. Have a fabulous weekend!
