I am trying a gratitude practice 2026, sharing one photo a day of something that I am grateful for. Sometimes it is going to be only a photo, and sometimes I’ll write something about gratitude, related to the photo. The goal is for it to be a daily practice, (but I am going to be kind to myself, if I happen to miss a day here and there.)

Today, January 1st, the very first day of the year I am grateful for the snow that finally arrived! It was on my daughter’s wishlist for her Christmas break that we would make snow angels together. Today was the first day we had enough snow to make that happen, and we did :)

What are you grateful for today? Would you like to join me in this Daily Gratitude Practice 2026? Let’s tag our posts #DailyGratitudePractice2026.

    1. Thank you! Me too! We are enjoying a big snow storm that they named “Anna”. At least we are enjoying it in our region, a little East of here the storm is a little too much.

  4. Nice your daughter enjoys the snow (if it was me, the last thing I would be grateful for is snow!). This is a lovely idea….look forward to seeing what comes up over the year.

    1. Thank you! Growing up in the Swedish mountains snow and all the fun things you can do in it, is something I appreciate. When I was younger I aimed to get at least 100 days of snowboarding every year.
