Every year I eagerly anticipate seeing the diverse poppy varieties in my garden. Some of them planted by me, but there’s usually surprise varieties from self-spreading seeds all around the place as well. It is hard to tell if it’s the bees, the butterflies, or perhaps me that likes them the most. This large, dark poppy is my favourite one.
