Daily Gratitude Practice 2026 – Memories

Today I am sharing a memory that I am grateful for, from my birthday back in late 2018. My daughter and I went on a day-trip with some friends. It was a surprise trip, I had no idea that we were going. My friends came and picked me up early in the morning (I lived in Las Vegas at the time,) and took me to different places in Nevada where it is common to see wild horses. I love horses, and watching them is always a thrill. It was an all day trip, they dropped me off at home late at night, after seeing wild horses and burros in many different locations. The young horse in the photo was one of the first we saw.

    That’s a very beautiful photo, Maria! I’m glad that you saw the wild horses and donkeys. I don’t recognise the peaks. I am grateful for yet another day and getting things done around my home. I wish that we had met for lunch while you were here! ❤️

        Ah, thanks for the location! Probably a different perspective. Overcast and 67F here today but rain and cooler temps will be here Monday and Tuesday with rain.
